Timings
We will allocate times to Teams however we are also going to ask for your preferences and to help people work out what time is best to start off I have added the times that Steve and I have done last year and then when we tested the trackers last week. Steve hikes fast and doesn't run so his team will be setting off at 4pm. I ran both days however last week we both timed to the Track checkpoints so that is more accurate. If any running Teams want to set off earlier than 6pm we could allow 5pm since I think between 4pm and 7pm is the best time. According to daylight times the Sunset is 20.05 so dark by 21.00 and Sunrise is 06.35 so light is 05.45 ish As I have said in the Route notes the most navigational section is between Curleywee and Forest track CP.
